As we come to the close of another school year, we want to thank all of the parents out there who sincerely care about their children’s well-being. Without you, our children would grow up not knowing what it means to have someone to trust. Home educators, you make the world a better place, whether or not you realize it. Without you, we wouldn’t have the opportunity to serve.
We always take the time to stop and look back at what we have accomplished over the past year, and we suggest you do the same. Our biggest, most recent accomplishment was moving into the new building. Although it was a time-intensive project, it was really worth it. Just like the years of raising our kids and teaching them about life and the things they need to know, its all worth it. We encourage you to sit down and just talk with your kids. Look back on the past year. Ask them questions about what they thought about the experience, and what they hope to accomplish next year. Let them ask you the same questions. Trust us, it will be worth it.
Is your child interested in attending college? If so, do they know why they want to attend college? We think the answer to this question has a lot to do with whether a person will succeed and enjoy college, or regret the decision. We have guidance counselors available if you would like help discussing this, and all of your options for higher education. Remember, college is just one piece of a puzzle, and it may not fit into your puzzle! Please come by and see us anytime, and we can help you make some of those tougher decisions.
They say our children are our future. We believe that to be true, and home educators, you make the world a better place, one child at a time.
We couldn’t have done it without you!
